We all spent a lot of time reading at home during 2020, when Covid 19 changed our way of life, shutting us off from each other. My cat companions alleviated the loneliness and boredom.
Here’s the idea I had:
So I had to pose. I had a photo of my cat I could use already (no getting a cat to pose):
Of course I had to re-pose, with barefeet, and changed the colour of the trousers. I did a colour study in photoshop (you can see it on the screen behind the support), and here’s the initial drawing on the prepared wood:
I even did a night version (I was taking a class, and doing a night & day pair was an exercise):
