Last year I took a couple of classes given online by Jennifer Gennari, an artist who does amazing precise animal paintings that at the same time manage to capture the liveliness of her subjects. I learned a great deal—especially to take care and mix my colours patiently. Also to really look carefully, and not settle for approximation.
