Last year I posted about the big Pétanques event of St Cannat; I’ve designed a fabric based on drawings of lazy summer afternoons in Provence: the Pastis, the players, the precious shade, floppy dogs, and other iconic elements so familiar to me now.
And I found a company who will print one’s motif (I created a repeat pattern in Photoshop) on high-quality organic cotton: Sam’Oz. I made a lined cosmetics bag (lined with a pétanques ball fabric I also created), an apron, an eye pillow and sachet, the latter two filled with organic lavender.
